HOTELS IN LONDON

By: Innomax Solutions

Comparing the cities five star hotels to international five star hotels one will notice that in terms of the number of rooms the London hotels have fewer rooms most at about 400 rooms and some with even few, less than a 100.

There is a wide range of hotels in the city; some of the hotels like the Renaissance chancery and the Aidwych are in buildings that were not custom built to be hotels but rather were converted into hotels in the modern era. Hotels like the Dorchester and the Ritz were built to be hotels and they are grand hotels. The chains of hotels that are in the city include the Hilton hotel and the four season’s hotel and there are very trendy hotels frequented by the rich and famous.

Hotels situated next to the various airports in the city are the most profitable as they are a meeting place for many people. With the next Olympics to be held in London they are more and more hotels that are being built in order to house the many visitors that will throng this great city of the world. There is one unusual hotel in the city that is the Sunborn hotel, it is a floating hotel at the excel center and the boat was built to be a hotel so it has no engine. The city has hotels at many of its airport and thee are usually used by people who are waiting for connecting flight or are having meetings whilst waiting for their flights.

Like I alluded to earlier with the Olympic games headed to London , there is going to a an increase in the number of hotels that are in the city already and it will not be surprising to see some of the hotels that have been around for a long time being closed down.
